I appreciate that this is a Christian novel. The plot was well laid out and had plenty of plot twists.

I very much enjoyed this book. It was realistic in its portrayal of the way one would feel after seeing a loved one brutally murdered. I came to care about the characters, and was happy to see the emotional and spiritual healing that took place.
